At YU Global, we know the importance of having someone to answer your questions. While online asynchronous courses offer flexibility and convenience for students, having some live interaction with an instructor is still very valuable. Our course facilitators give students real-time opportunities to ask questions, clarify confusing topics, join group discussions and connect on a more personal level.

All courses have a course facilitator available for live meet-ups and discussions. Our course facilitators being a wealth of experience to the program, boasting years of experience in their respective fields. Their extensive professional backgrounds not only showcase a deep understanding of the subject matter but also provide a unique and valuable perspective to our participants.

YU Global employs the expertise of full-time and part-time faculty to develop the curriculum, design the courses, and manage updates and changes. Many of these faculty anchors are on the YU faculty; others have been hired specifically for YU Global. This includes both faculty with deep academic knowledge in their subject matter as well as instructors who have extensive experience in their profession.

All of the classes are conveniently online, allowing students to work at their own pace from almost anywhere around the world. Some courses are totally asynchronous while others may be a hybrid of online and live online instruction.

Yes, courses are open to students of all ages, grade levels and experience. We offer separate cohorts for men and women.

The guiding principles for program development include:

Most certificates range between 6-8 weeks. A few select courses may take up to a year to complete. Please review the course description for the length and cost of your chosen certificate.

To assist in financing one's certificate, participants may take out a loan from a lending agency that provides funding for certificate programs. In an exclusive partnership with YU Global, the Hebrew Free Loan Society-NY will provide zero interest loans for qualifying participants, with a special loan for participants in our Cybersecurity course. In an additional exclusive partnership, Hebrew Free Loan of NJ will offer interest free loans, to qualified New Jersey applicants (excluding Ocean County residents), to cover the cost of your YU Global certificate. Learners living in the DC metro area may reach out to the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Greater Washington for zero interest loans to qualified borrowers in the DC metro area.

In November 2023, we launched our first series of courses, marking the beginning of an exciting educational journey. New additions to our course catalog will be introduced every few weeks. We will rerun our original offerings, for those who missed the first session providing participants with the opportunity to thrive in their personal and professional pursuits.

Unfortunately, after payment has been made, we are unable to refund your payment. If you find you have joined the wrong certificate program, we may accommodate an in kind transfer to another course until completion of your first session.
