Leadership Team

Dr. Danielle Wozniak, Vice President for Global Strategy and Business Development at Yeshiva
University, is a visionary leader in higher education. With extensive experience across multiple institutions, she's a pioneer in online and hybrid learning, developing innovative programs addressing critical social issues and learner needs.


At YU Global, Dr. Wozniak has built Global’s capacity for rapid development of gamified digital educational content with measurable outcomes. Her passion lies in making high-quality education accessible and using it to transform lives and repair the world. As a leading proponent of AI in education and workforce development, Dr. Wozniak continues to innovate, making her a transformative force in higher education and a champion for accessible, impactful learning experiences.


Dr. Wozniak holds a PhD in Anthropology, an MSW, a BA in English Literature, and a Certificate in Educational Leadership. Her interdisciplinary background has resulted in several publications on kinship, post-traumatic growth, and sexual assault prevention.

Ari Perl is a forward-thinking adult educator and nonprofit leader with strong interpersonal skills, strategic-thinking abilities, and a track record of organizational success. Ari’s well-rounded academic credentials include a BA in Health Sciences, MAs in history and business administration, and rabbinic ordination. In his role as YU Global’s Director of Operations, Ari is responsible for financial management, logistical operations, and business development.


During his 20+ year career as a congregational rabbi, Ari was widely recognized for building community by forming collaborative partnerships with both local and national organizations.


Before joining YU Global, Ari served as Vice President for Multicultural Engagement at LiveOnNY, a large nonprofit healthcare organization responsible for all aspects of deceased organ donation in the NYC-area, where he developed culturally sensitive training and educational programming for both internal staff and external community stakeholders while supervising a team of specialized family support coordinators. Ari is a past president of the Rabbinical Association of Greater Dallas and past vice president of the Rabbinical Council of America.


Ari is a true pioneer of online education, having cofounded the Melton Adult Mini-school program in Wichita, KS in 2002, where his online classes were supplemented by quarterly in-person session which Ari traveled to via two-seater propeller plane.

Beth Chesir brings a diverse professional background to her role as Director of Enrollment and Career Services at YU Global. With a degree in accounting from NYU College of Business and CPA certification from New York State, Beth's career spans finance, operations management, legal administration, and higher education.


Beth started her career at Deloitte, where she rose to Senior Accountant, gaining valuable experience in accounting and financial services. Her early professional path includes valuable experience as the Office Manager at a Rockland County, NY law firm, where she developed strong organizational leadership and administrative expertise in a fast-paced legal environment.


Beth's pivotal role as Assistant Director of Admissions and External Affairs at Ben-Gurion University's Medical School for International Health honed her skills in guiding applicants and supporting students, consistently achieving full enrollment targets.


At YU Global, Beth leverages her multifaceted experience to connect companies and individuals with tailored educational opportunities. Her non-linear career path uniquely positions her to understand and address complex enrollment and career development challenges across various industries and career stages.

Joseph Rosenbaum, Director of Education at YU Global, blends expertise in psychology, neuroscience, and social work to innovate in education. With degrees from McGill University and Boston College, he led the BoSTEM project at United Way of Mass Bay, connecting STEM education with industry needs.


As founder of Synaptic Labs and in his role at YU Global, Joseph integrates AI into learning environments, developing cutting-edge courses that prepare leaders for a tech-driven future. His passion for accessible, high-quality education and technology-driven solutions to societal challenges positions him as a key advocate for the future of learning.

Tomer Zamir, Course Development Manager at YU Global, oversees the entire course development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, learner-centric content creation. His expertise spans educational strategies, project management, and workforce development program design.


Previously, as a Senior Instructor at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, Tomer specialized in Hebrew language instruction and curriculum development for military personnel. He prepared linguists for crucial proficiency tests, organized immersive language training events, and analyzed program effectiveness to enhance learning outcomes.


At YU Global, Tomer leverages his diverse experience in student services, compliance, and process improvement from his time at UCSC. He enhances digital literacy through instructional webinars on AI and Learning Management Systems, and participates in developing advanced bots for interactive learning experiences. His multifaceted background uniquely positions him to drive innovation in course development and delivery.

Jordan Reed is the Educational Technology Specialist at YU Global, overseeing the Learning Management Systems and serving as the main support contact for YU Global’s learners. Committed to academic excellence, he graduated with honors and as ‘Best in Major’ in his undergraduate program in Practical Ministry at Southeastern University, and summa cum laude in his MDiv from the Boston University School of Theology.


At YU Global, Jordan is constantly on the lookout for ways to improve and innovate on the services we already provide. Forward-thinking, quick to learn, and adept with new technologies, Jordan is always offering creative solutions to problems as, and before, they arise. With his diverse background in Christian theology, workforce development, academic research, church ministry, and customer service, Jordan is well-suited for the professional and religious intersections within which YU Global is positioned.

Emily Frank is an Instructional Designer for YU Global. After graduating from college, Emily realized her true calling was helping people and working in computers. She graduated from Marlboro College in Vermont with a Masters in Teaching with Technology, then went on to get a certificate in Instructional Design.


Since then, she's worked for two universities and one corporation, helping design and develop meaningful training content. She loves to problem solve and find creative solutions. She enjoys collaborating with others and being part of a community.

Rabbi Ari Rockoff currently serves as the David Mitzner Community Dean for Values and Leadership at Yeshiva University. He is recognized as a dynamic leader with a vast national and international network who has significant expertise in organizational strategy and leadership development.


Ari has served in numerous leadership positions during the past 25 years. His work primarily focuses on optimizing human capital, building robust talent pipelines, and unlocking the full potential of individuals and teams. He also serves as a strategic advisor to executives and philanthropists to drive impactful change and growth.


An alumnus of Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business, Ari holds an MBA with a specialization in organizational behavior from Baruch College, a master’s degree in education from Azrieli, and rabbinical ordination from YU’s Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminar (RIETS). His diverse educational background equips him with a unique blend of traditional scholarship and contemporary business acumen, enabling him to transform complex concepts nto practical, effective strategies.

Lisa Sheldon Brown, Ph.D., Senior Instructional Designer and Production Lead, is an accomplished educational leader with over 20 years of experience in curriculum design, educational content development, and learning technology management in both traditional and online learning environments for higher education institutions nationwide.


In her two decades in higher education publishing, she had roles at McGraw-Hill Higher Education, Pearson Learning, Sage Publications, and MacMillan Education, where she led content development initiatives, managed product lifecycles, designed innovative course models, and implemented both online and face-to-face curriculum frameworks. As the Director of Curriculum Development at Claremont Lincoln University, she spearheaded comprehensive curriculum development efforts that were instrumental in the university's accreditation process. Her work in designing institutional assessment frameworks, establishing program learning outcomes, and creating effective course structures was specifically highlighted as a key strength of the institution.


Dr. Brown holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Florida, a Master's degree in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue University, and a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of South Florida.
